She wrapped an arm around the other, her free hand finding one of the other’s clinging hands.
“It was fun. I like that Arrakas fell’ah.” She said, kissing the other’s forehead softly. “He’s a good person.”
“He’s a good man.”, said Bex. She nuzzled the rancher affectionately, pressing lips to the other woman’s throat, “Nosy and a smart-aleck, but a good man. He’s saved me a couple times.”
“Has he? That’s good.” She said, humming at the affections given to her. “C’mere.” She said, pulling the other towards the living room.
With a lilting laugh, Bex allowed herself to be tugged along, curious as to what the other woman had planned. Her bare feet made no sound, but the nail polish still tipping her toes glinted in the light, much like her eyes shone green-blue-violet.
She sat down, pulling the other in to her lap. Kissing her softly, she just wrapped her arms around her waist.
“I’m content, just like this.” She said, smiling.
“Mmn…”, was the murmured answer as Bex snuggled against the Rancher. she breathed deep, exhaling slowly, nuzzling and affectionate as a kitten.
“This is nice…”, mumbled the Keeper, “I like this too. It’s comfy… and safe.”
